Target recalled more than 23,000 toy sets after a possible choking hazard was found

Soft toys meant to be safe for children can cause a choking situation, which is why Target recalled about 23,400 Cloud Island 4-Piece Plush Toy Sets of cars.

The exact problem, as stated in the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission recall notice: “The tires on the toy vehicles can detach, posing a choking hazard to children.”

Target knows about this happening four times, but without any damage to any kid’s breathing.

This covers item No. 030-02-1042, which is printed on the fabric tag attached to one of the toys.
