Irving started his collegiate career at Minnesota before transferring to Oregon after one season. Irving immediately stepped into a starting role for the Ducks and produced two 1,000-yard seasons with a career-high 13 total touchdowns last season. A threat out of the backfield, Irving caught 56 passes for 413 yards to complement his strong off-tackle run game.

Consistently broke the 100-yard mark as a Duck, Irving’s best performance was during the 2022 Holiday Bowl. Irving totaled 149 rushing yards and two touchdowns to be named the offensive MVP of the game on just 13 carries. He became the ninth Oregon player to rush for multiple touchdowns in a bowl game in the performance.

How Bucky Irving performed at NFL Combine, Oregon's Pro Day

Irving didn’t have the best day at the NFL Scouting Combine, finishing toward the back half among running backs in most drills, including a 4.55 second 40. His 29.5-inch vertical jump was lowest among running backs and his 9-foot-7 broad jump was second to last. Irving improved his broad jump to 31.5 inches at his Pro Day.
