A Taco Bell fan-favorite will return to menus — but with a spicy twist. What to know

Taco Bell is putting a spicy twist on a returning fan-favorite, but only for a limited time.

Nacho Fries will return to menus Thursday, April 13 — this time featuring the heat of Yellowbird Hot Sauce, the fast-food chain announced in a news release.

The new Yellowbird Nacho Fries come with seasoned potato fries and warm nacho cheese “topped with steak and Taco Bell + Yellowbird’s exclusive Spicy Habanero Ranch,” according to a product description.

Customers have just two weeks to try the entree, which starts at $4.99. Classic Nacho Fries are also available for $1.99 plus tax and will remain on menus after the Taco Bell-Yellowbird partnership ends, the release states.

Those who order on the restaurant’s mobile app can add the Spicy Habanero Ranch sauce to any menu item for a limited time, for an extra dollar.

This isn’t the first time the chain has teamed up with a hot sauce brand to spice up a menu classic. Last year, Taco Bell rolled out the Loaded Truff Nacho Fries featuring Truff Hot Sauce, McClatchy News reported.
