Suzanne Somers, who played Chrissy Snow in Three's Company, has passed away. She was 76.

The sad news was confirmed by her publicist, R. Couri Hay, in a statement first shared with Page Six. "Suzanne Somers passed away peacefully at home in the early morning hours of October 15th. She survived an aggressive form of breast cancer for over 23 years," wrote Hay. "Suzanne was surrounded by her loving husband Alan [Hamel], her son Bruce [Somers Jr.], and her immediate family."

Somers' publicist mentioned that her family was set to gather on Monday, Oct. 16, on what would've been her 77th birthday. "Instead, they will celebrate her extraordinary life, and want to thank her millions of fans and followers who loved her dearly. A private family burial will take place this week, with a memorial to follow next month," he concluded.

The actress, whom many know for her roles as Chrissy Snow on Three's Company and Carol Foster Lambert on Step By Step, among others, opened up about her health issues in July 2023 as she announced that her cancer had returned.

She told fans in a personal post on Instagram, writing, "Since I have been taking time off from work, many of you have asked for more details about my health. As you know, I had breast cancer two decades ago, and every now and then it pops up again, and I continue to bat it down. I have used the best alternative and conventional treatments to combat it."

"This is not new territory for me. I know how to put on my battle gear and I’m a fighter," Somers went on, detailing how much her family and husband supported her, before concluding, "Thank you for the continued love and support. It’s only about who you love and who loves you - and I love you! ✨💛✨."

Along with her husband, Alan, and son Bruce—whom she shares with her first husband, Bruce Somers—she is also survived by her two granddaughters, Camelia and Violet Somers.
