At a Survivor event in Hollywood on Saturday night, Probst announced that the fiftieth season of the long-running CBS competition series will feature familiar faces.

The series first started incorporating former players in Season 8 for Survivor: All-Stars, and later saw familiar contestants in Season 11 (Guatemala), Season 16 (Micronesia — Fans vs. Favorites) and Season 20 (Heroes vs. Villains). In 2020, the show celebrated Season 40 (Winners at War) by inviting back 20 former winners. The reality show hasn’t seen a returning player since, with the exception of Bruce Perrault, who came back to the competition in Season 45 after leaving Season 44 early due to an injury.

Survivor Season 46 is currently airing new episodes on Wednesdays at 8/7c on CBS. (Read latest exit interview.)
