Dawn Staley has cycled through her closet throughout the women’s basketball season.

For the first eight games, she wore clothes that honored Brittney Griner, who was incarcerated in Russia for 10 months. She also had an orange “We Are BG” pin that she donned with her outfits.

She’s worn a few shirts that honored WNBA stars Sheryl Swoopes and A’ja Wilson — the latter of which she coached at South Carolina.

Staley — a Philadelphia native — has represented the Philadelphia Eagles with her in-game outfits for the last three games, and she’ll continue to do so this week. South Carolina faces Auburn on the road Thursday and LSU on Sunday at Colonial Life Arena.

She’s already lined up a jersey for this weekend and Super Bowl Sunday, but didn’t reveal whose jersey it is.

“I’m wearing what I’m wearing to the Super Bowl party on the sideline,” Staley said.

The No. 1 Gamecocks face No. 3 LSU at 2 p.m. Sunday, with the Super Bowl beginning at 6:30 p.m.

The Eagles won the NFC Championship on Jan. 29 and will face the Kansas City Chiefs. Philadelphia is seeking its second Super Bowl win in franchise history and the Chiefs are seeking their third.

Staley’s already worn Jalen Hurts and Brian Dawkins jerseys and a Reggie White hoodie. She also has a jersey of former Gamecock and free agent NFL wide receiver Alshon Jeffery in her possession.

“I don’t like the way (Jeffery’s) fits because it’s a real jersey,” Staley said on Feb. 2. “It’s an actual jersey and I don’t have shoulder pads. I might wear the shoulder pads on the sidelines — how ‘bout that?”

Staley is often credited for having one of the best wardrobes in the sport. Her outfits have been a bit more thematic this season, and may enter another stage after the Super Bowl.

She recently shared on Twitter a varsity jacket she received from Carmelo Anthony’s brand STAYME7O.

But from a fashion standpoint, Staley still has her mind on the Eagles.

“The outfit’s planned,” Staley said. “I got two more jerseys, one for (Thursday) and one for Sunday. I might have one for the following week.”
