Super Bowl 2023: Kansas City, 'Power & Light District' erupt after Chiefs beat Eagles

The Kansas City Chiefs won their second Super Bowl in four years on Sunday night in Arizona, and fans back in Missouri showed out.

Scenes from the Power & Light District in downtown Kansas City were incredible in the moments after the Chiefs beat the Philadelphia Eagles 38-35 at State Farm Stadium in Super Bowl LVII.

Plenty of others in the Kansas City sports world were quick to congratulate the Chiefs, too.

The fireworks that started going off across the city were even picked up by the National Weather Service.

Patrick Mahomes led the Chiefs to a comeback 38-35 win after putting up 17 points in the fourth quarter to win their second Super Bowl in four years on Sunday night. Mahomes, who went 21 of 27 for 182 yards, threw three touchdowns in the win and earned Super Bowl MVP honors.
