When is SunFest 2024 coming to downtown West Palm Beach? Who are the headliners?

SunFest 2024 will take place May 3 to 5 along Flagler Drive and the Intracoastal Waterway in downtown West Palm Beach.

Gates open Friday, May 3, at 5 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday at noon. The festival ends at 11 p.m. both days. On Sunday, gates open at noon and the festival ends at 10 p.m.

This will be the second straight year that SunFest will be three days. It ran for five days through 2017, then four days from 2018 to 2022. Organizers canceled the festival in 2020 and 2021 due to COVID-19.

The nonprofit festival is celebrating its 40th festival this year, having started in 1982 as a jazz and art-focused festival.

SunFest 2024: How much are tickets?

Three-day passes for teenagers and adults are on sale online at sunfest.com/tickets for $155 until Saturday, when early-bird pricing ends. The three-day price at the gate will cost $170, the same as last year.

Two-day passes are $140 until Saturday and will cost $160 at the gate.

The advance price for a single-day ticket is $80. Gate price, $82. Seniors age 65 and older can buy single-day passes at the gate for $60.

Children under 5 get in free with an adult ticket and tickets for children ages 6 to 12 are $50 for a one-day pass and $95 for a three-day pass, the same as last year.

SunFest 2024: West Palm Beach downtown road closures

These roads will close from Thursday, April 25 through May 8.

  • Flagler Drive from Lakeview Avenue to Banyan Boulevard

  • North and South Clematis streets

  • Limited Access to the 100 block of Datura Street

  • Limited access to the 200 block of Evernia Street

  • Limited access to the 200 block of Fern Street

Also, the Clematis Street and Fern Street docks will be closed from Thursday, April 25, at 9 a.m. through May 8 at 6 p.m., the City of West Palm Beach says.
