The Los Angeles Chargers’ two-game losing skid is over.

The Chargers flew past the Tyson Bagent-led Chicago Bears on Sunday night without any issue. They picked up the dominant 30-13 win at SoFi Stadium, which gave them their first win in almost a full month.

The Chargers jumped up to a 17-point lead almost instantly. Justin Herbert found Austin Ekeler for a 39-yard touchdown on their first drive of the night. Herbert then hit Simi Fehoko for a 9-yard score on their next drive, and Cameron Dicker hit a 43-yard field goal early in the second quarter after a Ja’Sir Taylor interception.

They added one more for good measure before the half ended, thanks to an 11-yard touchdown from Donald Parham. That gave the Chargers, who scored on their first four drives of the half, a dominant 24-7 lead at the break.

The Bears’ only touchdown of the night came off a Darrynton Evans 11-yard run late in the first half. By the time the fourth quarter hit, the Bears were too far out of it to make a meaningful push. Bagent scored just before the two minute warning on a 1-yard quarterback sneak, but the two-point conversion and ensuing onside kick failed. That led the Chargers to the 17-point win.

Bagent went 25-of-37 for 232 yards with two interceptions for the Bears in the loss. The former Division II star who went undrafted out of Shepherd University was making his second start in place of Justin Fields, who is dealing with a thumb injury. D’Onta Foreman had 34 rushing yards on nine carries, and Cole Kmet had 79 yards on 10 catches.

Herbert went 31-of-40 for 298 yards and had three touchdowns in the win for the Chargers. Ekeler had 29 rushing yards on 15 carries, but had another 94 yards on seven catches. Keenan Allen added 69 yards on eight grabs.
