The investigation into the cybersecurity incident at the Ohio Lottery Dec. 24 is ongoing.

Two friends who won $1 million on the scratch-off game Billion will split the winnings down the middle, according to an Ohio Lottery news release.

Work friends Dylan Smetzer of Cuyahoga Falls and Olen Wright of Akron were given two choices: split $50,000 annually for 20 years or split a full cash payout at $500,000 each, according to the Ohio Lottery website. They took the full payout, so after the mandatory state and federal tax equaling 28%, they will split $360,000
