Athletes from Hoban and Green high schools won the voting for the Summit County High School Athlete of the Week for April 15-21.

Adeline Herstich of Hoban is the girls winner and Liam O'Farrell of Green wins for the boys. Herstich is a softball player and O'Farrell is a tennis player. Herstich received 40.68% of the votes cast. O'Farrell received 52.79% of the votes cast.

A total of 2,416 votes were cast overall.

Adeline Herstich, Hoban softball

Had a home run, a double and five RBIs Thursday in an 18-6 win over Manchester, and had a single, a double, two RBIs and a run scored Tuesday in a 13-10 win over Ursuline.

Liam O'Farrell, Green tennis

Battled his way to five victories without a loss at second singles while the Bulldogs were going 3-2 last week. He recorded a 6-0, 6-0 win Saturday against Canton McKinley; a 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 win Friday against CVCA; a 6-0, 6-0 win Thursday against Highland; a 4-6, 6-3, 6-2 win Tuesday against Walsh Jesuit; and a 7-5, 6-3 victory Monday against Lake.
