Summer kids programs get a boost from the Richland County Foundation

The Richland County Foundation is supporting summertime programs focused on children.

The Summertime Kids Committee, chaired by Foundation Board of Trustees member Karen Bierly along with members from the community, approved $62,606 in Summertime Kids grants. The grants of up to $2,500 support creative, educational and fun-filled activities for hundreds of Richland County children.

• K-City Childcare & Preschool Dream Big

• Kingwood Center Gardens Summer Camp

• Lifecare Alliance CODA Camp

• Love On A Mission Mindfulness and Murals

• Mt. Vernon Nazarene University Academic Summer Camps

• My Village Ministries Lex Center

• NECIC Summer Manufacturing Institute Camp

• Ohio Bird Sanctuary Nature Camp

• Ohio State University Foundation Buckeye Pre College

• Recreation Unlimited Foundation Residential Summer Camp

• Richland Academy of the Arts Summer Film Camp

• Richland Newhope Campership Program

• Salvation Army Dewald Center Summer Zone

• Shelby City Schools Camp Invention
