From elegant tea parties and dazzling dinner soirees to creative twists on your favorite summer foods, there is something crave-worthy for everyone.
As the weather heats up, get inspired with these intimate yet thoughtful entertaining ideas and pair those with new ways to eat and drink some classics. We’re diving into all the viral food and entertaining summer staples, according to Pinterest users like you.
Themed Dinner Parties
Who doesn’t love a fancy (or silly) themed dinner party? The most popular dinner party themes for Pinterest users this summer are Greek, Chinese, coastal, fairy, and vintage. The first three themes are relatively straightforward, where you can serve a specific type of cuisine. Get more creative with the last two and encourage your guests to wear costumes that pair with some sparkly or antique party decor.
Charming Tea Parties
Bridgerton is back and so is our fascination with all things high tea and floral-related. It’s no surprise, then, that searches for Bridgerton tea party have increased 430%, and related searches, like high tea food ideas and floral tea party, have seen a similar uptick. If you want to take your elegant entertaining into the evening, mix in some Bridgerton-inspired cocktails.
Coffee Alternatives
Most people need their morning cup of coffee, regardless of how hot it is outside. But, according to Pinterest users, tea may just be the new drink of choice. That means matcha milk tea and strawberry iced tea are becoming drinks of choice for tea parties and morning (or anytime) routines. Then there’s mango sago, a mango-based tapioca pudding, and mango chia seed pudding. People also want to try mango jelly and mango crepes this summer.
New Ways to Eat Avocado
The internet has maximized how we eat avocados, going as far as turning this buttery soft produce into crisp avocado fries. Then there’s avocado toast, but did you know people are baking avocado bread now? For sweeter ways to use fresh and frozen avocado, search for avocado desserts, avocado shakes, and avocado ice cream.
