The CW is taking viewers back to Sullivan's Crossing.
The drama, based on Virgin River author Robyn Carr's Sullivan's Crossing book series, received an early Season 2 renewal in 2023 prior to its debut on the network.
"We are so confident that audiences are going to fall in love with it that we have committed early to a second season,” Brad Schwartz, President of Entertainment of The CW Network said ahead of the show's U.S. premiere. “As partners for season two, we cannot wait to work alongside this talented cast and excellent creative team to deliver another emotionally captivating season. Audiences can give their hearts to this show knowing that it is coming back for much, much more.”
Scott Patterson, who stars alongside Chad Michael Murray and Morgan Kohan in the series, celebrated the news at the time, writing on Instagram: "🇨🇦 CANADA 🇨🇦 SEASON 2! The gang will be returning to ‘Sullivan’s Crossing’ for another season on CTV!"

What is the Sullivan's Crossing Season 2 release date?
A premiere date has not been announced. Ahead of the Season 1 finale, Sullivan's Crossing actor Reid Price revealed on his Instagram Story [on Dec. 11] that they were "about to wrap filming S2," which bodes well for a possible spring 2024 premiere.

What will happen in Season 2 of Sullivan's Crossing?
A logline for the second season hasn't been revealed, but the first season ended with a big cliffhanger! In the Season 1 finale, the charges against Maggie were dismissed and she returned to Sullivan's Crossing. "It's a lot more simple here," she told her father. Sully encouraged his daughter to tell Cal how she feels. However, when Maggie goes looking for Cal (who spread his late wife's ashes in the episode), Lola tells her that he's left and she neglects to give Maggie an envelope that's addressed to her.
In the final moments, it's revealed that Maggie is pregnant and she's going to take the job in Boston. After his daughter says goodbye and confronts him about why he never went after her when she was young, Sully has a flashback of himself hitting Lola with his car while he was driving after his daughter. The episode ends with Sully seemingly having a heart attack and falling to the ground as Maggie drives away from Sullivan's Crossing.
