In early October, fans rushed to the CW Network to witness the premiere of a brand-new drama called Sullivan's Crossing.
Based on the book series by writer Robyn Carr (who also wrote the stories which inspired the hit Netflix show Virgin River), the story follows neurosurgeon Maggie Sullivan (Morgan Kohan) who seeks refuge in her hometown of Sullivan's Crossing after being sued in Boston for negligence. Along the way, she builds and reconciles a number of different relationships, including with the elusive Cal Jones (Chad Michael Murray) and her estranged father, Harry "Sully" Sullivan (Scott Patterson).
Since its U.S. premiere, it was clear that people wanted to know more about Maggie and her life in the idyllic town, and luckily, it seems like we're going to get the chance to really dive in.

"Right now, I'm in Halifax, Nova Scotia," he explained over Zoom. "It's going very well. It's more of this sort of deep work that we're doing, deep emotional work... I'm not involved as of yet in the romance and the rom-drama category. I'm in the drama category... it's a real challenge every day, so that's why it's worth doing."
