Sudden storm crashes plans for 2024 Lilac Festival this evening
The 2024 Lilac Festival has closed for the day after a rain storm swept through Rochester. One of the acts was moving indoors.
The announcement on Instagram came just after 6:30 p.m. Friday, May 17.
Claude Bennington's Fever Dream and Hypnotic Brass Ensemble was headed to Essex on University Avenue at 8 p.m. The show will be free.
Organizers expect the Saturday lineup to remain the same at Highland Park.
