Styx will perform at the 2023 Washington State Fair with Nancy Wilson’s Heart.

The concert will be 7:30 p.m. Sept. 21 in Puyallup. Tickets at thefair.com/activities/styx/ range from $50-$70. That includes admission to the fair.

“The six men comprising Styx have committed to rocking the Paradise together with audiences far and wide by entering their second decade of averaging over 100 shows a year, and each one of them is committed to making the next show better than the last,” the fair’s website says.

They’re the first group to have four consecutive triple-platinum albums, with “The Grand Illusion” in 1977, “Pieces of Eight” in 1978, “Cornerstone” in 1979 and “Paradise Theater” in 1981.

“After more than a decade together on the road, this incarnation of Styx is looking forward to performing as many shows as it can as long as it can,” the fair’s website says.

Nancy Wilson co-wrote songs such as “Crazy on You” and “Barracuda.” She and Ann Wilson, her sister, lead Heart.

“That’s Nancy singing on Heart’s first Number One hit, ‘These Dreams,’” the fair’s website says.

Heart became part of the Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame in 2012.

“During an era when females in rock n’ roll were scarce, Nancy helped carve out a place for women to front a band and dominate a rock stage,” the fair’s website says.
