Stuff'D Steaks to reopen in Hershey soon

Stuff'D Steaks, the family-owned purveyor of cheesesteaks, burgers, hoagies and fries formerly located in Campbelltown, will soon reopen in Hershey.

Owner Brian Boltz confirmed on Monday that the purchase of their new building, located at 108 W. Chocolate Ave., in Hershey, formerly the location of Phillip Arthur's Café, had been finalized.

Stuff'D Steaks is expected to open at that location in 3 to 4 weeks, he said.

Stuff'D Steaks closed their Campbelltown store in late April and plans to reopen in Hershey in approximately 3-4 weeks.

Boltz explained that plans to open there began when Phil Guarno, owner of Fenicci's of Hershey and Phillip Arthur's Café, contacted him in late March to see if they were interested in the location. Boltz said they initially had plans to reopen elsewhere, but it would have been too long of a wait for them to reopen.

"We're going to continue our community involvement," Boltz said of what he's most looking forward to. "Where we got started. We're big believers in 'dance with the one that brought you,' and that community got us to where we are now. We're just community oriented. We're community oriented and we like to have fun."

Boltz added that for all the loyal customers from their original location, Stuff'D Steaks is only 8 to 10 minutes away.

The business closed in the Campbelltown location at the end of April, as they were unable come to an agreement on a lease with the new property owners.

When Stuff'D Steaks reopened last year after a break-in and vandalism incident that caused significant damage, Boltz told the Lebanon Daily News that they had been looking to open multiple locations in the future.

Boltz said that expanding is still in the plans for the business and is a topic that they'll be revisiting in 6 to 9 months. He added that they'd consider opening additional stores anywhere that people would be interested in seeing a Stuff'D Steaks location.

"We just got a little bit of a detour because we needed to find out our main location. Where our landing spot was going to be, where we're gonna call home, where we're secure, we don't have to worry about anything, landlords, etc.," he said. "That came to fruition on March 22 when Phil offered us the property. We're in control, we own the property, we own the building, we own the real estate."

"Now we can call this our home base. We have a home base established now. So we are looking to open some more stores."
