Strictly Come Dancing host Tess Daly has shared a rare photo with husband Vernon Kay following their trip to “paradise”.

The couple, who have been married since 2003, took a trip to the Caribbean for their latest holiday, and shared a photo on Instagram to celebrate the occasion.

“Paradise can wait for now, back to the school runs and the radio @vernonkay 🙏🚗 Thanks for the memories @destinologyholidays @edenroccapcana ✨”, wrote Tess in the caption.

The comment section was filled with plenty of supportive messages, with one follower writing: “You both have the "Peter Pan Genes", neither of you look your age at all!! Gorgeous couple🤩😍”.

Tess will be seen back on screen later this year as Strictly returns with its 22nd series, with the rumour mill set to begin in the preceding months.

One celebrity who has thrown her hat into the ring is Little Mix member Perrie Edwards, with the singer revealing that she would happily sign up for a stint on the dancefloor.

“I think I’d be really scared,” she said. “In the band at the very beginning, we went to rehearsals and I remember crying my eyes out and I went to my manager, ‘I’m going to have to leave the band. I can’t really dance, I don’t want to dance’.

“I was just so terrified and uncomfortable dancing that I just didn’t want to do it – I just wanted to stand and sing. Now, I love it. I absolutely love dancing. I actually would love it [Strictly Come Dancing],” she added, before confirming she would accept an invitation if it came her way.

Strictly Come Dancing will return later this year on BBC One, while spin-off Strictly: It Takes Two airs on weeknights on BBC Two. Both shows are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.

Tickets for Strictly's 2024 live arena tour are available now.
