Strictly Come Dancing star Bobby Brazier has opened up about his "deflated" mood on last weekend's show.

The EastEnders star sparked some viewer concern following his Tango with Dianne Buswell last Saturday (October 14) after the judges shared their comments.

Appearing on last night's (October 18) It Takes Two, presenter Janette Manrara questioned Bobby about his apparent low mood at the time, asking him what was going through his head.

"Yeah, I was proper [deflated]," Bobby admitted, before explaining that he was more relieved to have put the Tango behind him.

"To be honest, I think it had less to do with the judges' comments," the star continued. "I was actually quite happy with the judges' comments. Strictly is a journey and I think I was just very tired and glad to have done the Tango and put that all behind me."

Despite his deflated mood, Bobby and Dianne managed to score a high 30 points, putting them sixth on the leaderboard for the week.

Meanwhile, last week Bobby shared his praise for dance partner Dianne, sharing he's "falling in love" with her.

"I could speak about Dianne all day," he told The Mirror. "She's just a diamond — you know what, I'm falling in love with her. She's just great. I feel very lucky."

The pair will be taking to the dancefloor this week with a Viennese Waltz to 'Golden Hour' by JVKE.

Last weekend's show saw the elimination of Jody Cundy and partner Jowita Pryztal after facing the dance-off with Eddie Kadi and Karen Hauer.

Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturdays and Sundays on BBC One, while spin-off Strictly: It Takes Two airs on weeknights on BBC Two. Both shows are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.

Tickets for Strictly's 2024 live arena tour are available now.
