Live updates: 2024 Oregon football spring game at Autzen Stadium
It's green vs. white as the Oregon football team holds its annual spring game inside Autzen Stadium at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
Ducks fans will get their first looks as quarterbacks Dillon Gabriel and Dante Moore go head to head in Oregon's exhibition game and the team looks to replace NFL first-round draft pick Bo Nix.
Oregon's spring game also includes fan festivals, an F-15 flyover and a free on-field concert by Eugene native Mat Kearney, who is known for his Autzen Stadium staple "Coming Home (Oregon)."
Here are stories to get you up to speed ahead of the spring game. Follow along for live updates during the game.
Green team goes up with game's first TD
Jayden Limar scored on a 1-yard touchdown run on fourth-and-goal for the Green team. The drive was set up by an interception from Dakoda Fields, who picked off a long pass from Austin Novosad and returned it to the White 30.
Back-to-back injuries in second quarter silence crowd
Safety Kobe Savage was helped to the locker room after a hard collision while making a tackle on running back Jordan James along the sideline. One play later, wide receiver Traeshon Holden came up gimpy and unable to put pressure on his right leg after making a catch and running out of bounds.
Field goal puts White team into the lead
Grant Meadors kicks a 49-yard FG to put the White team up 3-0 after one drive each for both squads. The drive was highlighted by a 33-yard run by Jordan James that moved them into Green territory.
First drive stalls for Green team
QB Dillon Gabriel opened the drive with back-to-back completions to Tez Johnson for a combined 23 yards but the Green team didn't get much more as it punted on a fourth-and-12 from the White 46
Pregame notes: Injuries and players missing
Among players in street clothes pregame are freshman tight end A.J. Pugliano and linebacker Jaxson Jones. Oregon linebacker Bryce Boettcher has not been seen warming up as he continues to focus on his efforts with the Duck baseball team — which is in the midst of a series against rival Oregon State.
Oregon tailback Noah Whittington, who suffered a season-ending injury against Colorado in Week 4 last season, has also not been seen.
