These Stores Are Closed on Thanksgiving This Year

There are two types of people on Thanksgiving: Those who celebrate the holiday to its fullest and those who start Black Friday shopping on Thursday.

To say the least, this has been a unique year in the wake of coronavirus. The roster of retailers shutting down on Turkey Day is growing, as many major chains wish to avoid large, convening crowds in order to abide by social distancing regulations and give employees some time with their families during the holiday. In light of this, you’ll want to know the absolute worst day to shop for your Thanksgiving groceries.

Even Walmart is closing up shop on Thanksgiving in order to give employees some definitely hard-earned time off with their families as a thank you for standing strong during a trying time. Of course, Walmart might still cash in on Black Friday, as the hours of operation haven’t been announced just yet. If your favorite haunt is closed this Thanksgiving, keep an eye on online stores—they’re bound to have some deals headed your way.
