Stone Temple Pilots, LIVE, Soul Asylum coming to PNC Bank Arts Center this summer

Stone Temple Pilots and LIVE will co-headline The Jubilee Tour, produced by Live Nation this summer. And the tour is coming to the Shore.

On Sept. 6, the bands will play the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel. The opening act will be Soul Asylum.

The tour begins Aug. 16 in Concord, California, and will run 19 shows before wrapping up the tour Sept. 15 in Indianapolis.

Both STP and LIVE will be celebrating the 30th anniversary of hit albums.

Stone Temple Pilots released Purple in 1994. The album included hit songs Vasoline and Interstate Love Song. More than six million albums were sold.

LIVE sold 8 million copies of Throwing Copper, their 1994 album that included "I Alone," "Lightning Crashes" and "All Over You."

Tickets for the shows go on sale Friday.
