The Brooklyn Nets‘ NBA title hopes could hinge on the health of star guard Kyrie Irving, who missed Game 5 against the Milwaukee Bucks with an injury. So will the seven-time All-Star be joining the Nets for Game 6 in Milwaukee?

Speaking to the media on Wednesday, Nets head coach Steve Nash announced that Kyrie is officially out for Game 6. Nash said that he doesn’t believe Kyrie will travel for the game either.

However, he was more optimistic about James Harden, who wasn’t exactly in top shape for Game 5. Nash confirmed that Harden will play in Game 6.

Harden had five points, six rebounds and eight assists in the 114-108 win, and was pretty clearly struggling for stretches. Thankfully, Kevin Durant was able to pick up the slack and then some.

Kevin Durant had 49 points, 17 rebounds and 10 assists in the huge win for the Nets. He proved with that performance that he can put the team on his back in the clutch.

But with a trip to the Eastern Conference Finals on the line, the Nets can’t let Durant be the only one running the show.

The sooner Kyrie Irving makes his return to the starting lineup, the more confident Nets fans will be in their chances.

When is the next game we’ll see Kyrie play in? How many more wins can the Nets even get without him in the starting lineup?
