Steve Bing’s son, Damian Hurley, thanks well-wishers for condolences following dad’s suicide

Damian Hurley, the son of suicide victim Steve Bing, expressed gratitude for the outpouring of condolences following his father’s stunning death.

The 18-year-old offspring of film producer Bing and actress-model Elizabeth Hurley, posted a heartfelt message of appreciation Saturday on social media.

“I’d like to thank you all again for your overwhelming kindness over the past few days,” wrote “The Royals” actor on his Instagram page. ”Your love and support has helped me greatly during this challenging time.”

Bing had denied paternity of Damian following his birth in 2002 but a DNA test revealed he was the father.

The financier tragically leaped to his death from his 27th-floor apartment building in Century City, Calif., on June 22. The coroner ruled that the 55-year-old businessman died from blunt trauma.

On June 24, Elizabeth Hurley posted a throwback photo of Bing and herself on the beach during their relationship.

“I am saddened beyond belief that my ex Steve is no longer with us. It is a terrible end,” wrote Hurley in an Instagram post. “Our time together was very happy and I’m posting these pictures because although we went through some tough times, it’s the good, wonderful memories of a sweet, kind man that matter.”

Sharon Stone, who dated Bing in the early 1990s, recently admitted that she was struggling to come to terms with his death.
