New England Patriots outside linebackers coach Steve Belichick, who happens to be the son of head coach Bill Belichick, has gone viral several times this season due to his bizarre expressions on the sidelines.

When the Patriots hosted the Buccaneers in Week 4 on Sunday Night Football, the camera crew for NBC caught Belichick sticking his tongue out in an odd manner. That brief video clip immediately gained traction on social media.

A little over a week later, Belichick revealed that former Patriots safety Patrick Chung brought all the memes on social media to his attention.

Belichick didn’t have much to say about the memes during his recent press conference, telling reporters “Nothing I can do about that.”

The only thing Belichick can really do is stop making odd expressions on the sidelines. However, stuff like that naturally happens over the course of the season.

Belichick, who has been with the Patriots since the 2012 season, is currently in his second year as the team’s outside linebackers coach.

Although the Patriots haven’t started this season on a positive note, the defense has been very consistent. Through the first five games, the defense has given up an average of 18.4 points per game.

The Patriots’ defense should have its hands full this Sunday against Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys.
