The Dallas Cowboys have been one of the least active teams at the start of NFL free agency which has frustrated Cowboys fans all over social media.

Tad Prescott, brother of Cowboys starting quarterback Dak Prescott, took to X, formerly Twitter, to praise the NFC East rival Philadelphia Eagles front office for being the best in the NFL.

On Tuesday, Stephen A. Smith was on ESPN’s “First Take” and had strong words for Prescott’s brother.

“Shut the hell up, enough of you, shut the hell up. I’m sick of him,” said Smith, “I’m gonna tell you, Tad Prescott, why everybody should be sick of you... because you’re implying your brother had nothing to do with the troubles the Dallas Cowboys had experienced.”

Smith said Dak Prescott has to play better in the biggest moments and that his brother was trying to place blame for the Cowboys’ playoff disappointments on others in the organization.

“When you’re running and chirping like that you are implying that [Dak Prescott] is a victim. He is not.,” said Smith, “Nobody wants to hear anything more from Tad Prescott. He needs to be quiet.”

NFL Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe agreed with Smith, saying when a relative of an NFL athlete says something it’s assumed to be coming from the player and that family members should stay quiet.
