When the sun's out, there's nothing better than a spritz cocktail. Aperol is a classic choice, but this limoncello number transports me to Italy after just one sip. I kept this recipe really simple with just five ingredients (plus ice), and it takes less than five minutes to put together. Garnish with a slice of fresh lemon and some fresh basil for herby, Italian vibes, and you've got yourself the perfect summer cocktail.

Yields: 1 serving

Prep Time: 5 mins

Total Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Ice

  • 3 oz.

    (75 mL) Prosecco

  • 2 oz.

(50 mL) store-bought or homemade limoncello

  • 1 oz.

    (25 mL) soda water

  • Lemon slices and fresh basil leaves, for serving

Directions

  1. Fill a large wine glass with ice. Add Prosecco, limoncello, and soda water. Gently stir with a cocktail stirrer to combine.

  2. Garnish with lemon slice and basil.
