The Pittsburgh Steelers already need some help in Week 18 in order to get into the playoffs. But above everything else, they need to beat the Baltimore Ravens – a task that just got a lot harder.

According to Steelers insider Dale Lolley, wide receiver Diontae Johnson and starting center Kendrick Green have been placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list. Johnson is the Steelers’ leading receiver with 100 receptions for 1,110 yards and eight touchdowns.

The Baltimore Ravens have given up more passing yards than any other team this season. Johnson would be a huge asset for the Steelers in this crucial game.

For the Steelers to reach the playoffs, they need to beat Baltimore and hope the Indianapolis Colts lose to the Jacksonville Jaguars. They also need to pray that the Chargers-Raiders game doesn’t end in a tie.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are coming off an emotional win over the Cleveland Browns that may have been Ben Roethlisberger’s final game at Heinz Field. While the playoffs are not guaranteed even if the Steelers win on Sunday, they want to send off their longtime leader with a winning season.

If Diontae Johnson can’t go, it will likely be Ray-Ray McCloud, Chase Claypool and Pat Freiermuth doing the hard work on offense.

Can the Steelers beat the Ravens in Week 18 without Diontae Johnson in the lineup?

The game will be played on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. EST and will air on CBS.
