Ben Roethlisberger was on the field for the Pittsburgh Steelers’ win over the Baltimore Ravens on Wednesday night, the veteran quarterback did not practice at all this week.

Pittsburgh is on a short week due to all the chaos that ensued the Ravens’ COVID-19 outbreak. Its next game is this upcoming Monday against Washington.

On Saturday, the Steelers released their final injury report of the week. The biggest surprise was that Roethlisberger was listed as questionable with a knee injury. That injury held him out of practice the past three days.

Roethlisberger proved earlier this season that he doesn’t need to practice in order to play, but this is worth monitoring with the playoffs just around the corner.

Most of the offensive production for the Steelers comes through Roethlisberger. We saw last season just how inconsistent that unit is under Devlin Hodges and Mason Rudolph.

Roethlisberger is one of the toughest guys in the NFL, so it’ll take more than a knee injury to keep him out of action. Eventually all those hits add up though, and Big Ben took a few unnecessary shots against the Ravens in Week 12.

If the Steelers have Roethlisberger on Monday against the Washington Football Team, they’ll be heavily favored in that game. Another win would improve the team’s record to 12-0.
