Starting a New Year’s resolution? Here are the top five fitness centers in Beaufort Co.

With the arrival of the new year, many Beaufort County residents will make New Year’s resolutions to help promote a healthier lifestyle in 2023.

Beaufort County is home to many gyms that practice different styles of fitness. Take advantage of this new year to pursue one that is right for you.

To help you get started, here is a list of Yelp’s top five fitness centers in Beaufort County to help you get started.

LAVA 24 Fitness

Located on Hilton Head Island at 811 William Hilton Parkway, LAVA 24 Fitness placed fifth on the list. LAVA 24 promises an “elite functional fitness center” with South Carolina’s “highest-energy crowd,” according to the company’s website. The center has “three rooms of free-weights, three rooms of cardio equipment, bars, benches, as well as training classes for everyone.” It’s open every day of the week and has multiple offerings to those who may just be starting their fitness journey, looking to get stronger, wanting to lose weight or are already an advanced member of the fitness community.

CycleBar

In fourth place and located on Hilton Head Island at 11 Palmetto Bay Road, Suite 106B, CycleBar offers members a cycling experience as they pursue their fitness journeys. Open daily, several membership options are available for those looking to test the waters or fully commit to cycling. “Whether you are an indoor cycling pro or entirely new to the experience, CycleBar offers energizing rides tailored to all fitness levels. CycleBar will inspire, motivate and invigorate you so that you can face your day,” according to CycleBar’s website.

In third, EarthFIT can be found on Lady’s Island at 37 Sam’s Point Road. EarthFIT offers a free consultation for those looking to join the fitness center and has several offerings depending on what you are looking for. The center offers one-on-one personal training, group personal training, back pain relief and information on nutrition and supplements. The businesses website claims that EarthFIT can “help busy people like you to get the most from their workouts, discover new ways to move every single day and achieve optimum results.”

XP Fitness

Claiming second place, XP Fitness on Hilton Head Island can be found at 2 Marshland Road. This fitness gym is open daily and offers several membership options with both prepaid and monthly auto-renewal selections. XP Fitness is “an authentic gym experience in a friendly local establishment,” according to the gym’s website. Under the gym’s offerings, popular necessities included locker rooms with showers, towel service, Wi-Fi, a door access system with member key cards, turf and functional training, boxing and powerlifting rooms and strength and cardio machines. Personal training is also available.

Cynergy Fitness

The top fitness center in Beaufort County, according to Yelp, is Cynergy Fitness. Found in Bluffton, this fitness center is located at 102 Buckwalter Parkway 3EE. The center has several offerings that may appeal to those with busy schedules and lifestyles. Cynergy Fitness is a 24-hour fitness center for members, and classes as well as child care are included with all memberships, according to the gym’s Facebook page. Classes include bootcamp, Zumba, Tabata, spin and yoga, according to their most recent schedule. Small group personal training and use of the sauna are among the many options this gym offers.
