Starbucks' Halloween Cups Dropped Early—Here's Where to Find Them

Starbucks Halloween Cups were rumored to have a Sept. 12th release date. But leave it to the coffee chain that brought us its 20th annual PSL on Aug. 24th — about a month before fall actually kicks off — to soft-launch its Halloween cups early, too.

TikTok is buzzing about the 2023 Halloween Cups — and one is rather slimy (which may send seasonally appropriate chills down the spines of parents of young, slime-loving kids). Here's a look at that one, which will also bring back fond memories of days spent watching Nickelodeon, and some other already-viral Starbucks 2023 mugs.

Thus far, the runaway favorite and most-TikToked-about Starbucks Halloween cup is a 24-ounce neon-green, glow-in-the-dark lidded cup dripping with slime details at the top.

A video of the cup set to creepy music has generated nearly 44K likes on TikTok. Commenters say it reminds them of Goosebumps and Nickelodeon (remember when life's scariest moments came at the end of Are You Afraid of the Dark?)

"It's such a fun cup," said Megh of @coffeepassport in a TikTok video showcasing its glow-in-the-dark design. "It's going to be so popular."

For something sleeker and chicer, peep a dark iridescent rainbow cup fans spotted before the anticipated release, including at the Chicago O'Hare airport. Rumor has it the cup comes with a matching keychain.

Another TikToker, Linda Angel, who posts as @lindalovesmusic, did a full pan. Right away, a bright pink pumpkin-shaped mug stands out — it is sure to pair perfectly with the inevitable Barbie costumes Halloween 2023 will bring. For something a little less...pink...there's also a tumbler that appears to be dripping in pink, green, orange and black slime. It's glow-in-the-dark and can hold a grande beverage.

You'll also find "oozy pumpkins" and a Target-exclusive oil-slick skull mug.

All in all, it's left fans "shook" and singing Taylor Swift.
