Star Wars' Domhnall Gleeson lands next movie role
Star Wars actor Domhnall Gleeson has landed his next movie role in Apple's Fountain of Youth.
Directed by Guy Ritchie, the feature film stars A Quiet Place's John Krasinski and May December's Natalie Portman alongside Gleeson.
Written by James Vanderbilt, the film follows estranged siblings (played by Krasinski and Portman) who team up on a global heist to find the Fountain of Youth. The brother-sister duo must use their history knowledge as they follow clues on an epic quest in search of immortality (via Deadline).

Currently no further details are available about Gleeson's character but shooting for the movie is set to begin in the first quarter of this year.
Meanwhile, Harry Potter star Gleeson was recently cast in the new Channel 4 romance drama Alice & Jack alongside To Leslie's Andrea Riseborough. The series, which stars Gleeson and Riseborough in the titular roles, will follow their relationship while aiming to show "love in all its unexpected, technicolour, kaleidoscopic beauty".
Boasting an impressive cast, Alice & Jack will see Greatest Days star Aisling Bea, Sex Education's Aimee Lou Wood, and Stath Lets Flats star Sunil Patel take on supporting roles.

Speaking recently about the series, which is created and written by Mad Men's Victor Levin, Gleeson said: “The only work I've wanted to watch and do since the pandemic is work about connection and love, and work with a sense of humour.
"Alice and Jack keep coming back to each other because they can't help themselves - they find in each other something that they don't have on their own. I think they're soulmates, I think it's bigger than just the two of them. Their story centres on connection and love in the most beautiful way and reminds us that we are always allowed to smile - even if it's through the tears."
Fountain of Youth is yet to receive a release window.
