Stanley Tucci has proven his own passion for cooking with a series of viral (and adorable) videos on Instagram and an entire CNN series practically dedicated to eating pasta. Now, the actor is toying with the idea of a restaurant of his own.

While sitting down with Lilia and Misi's Missy Robbins in an interview on Radio Cherry Bombe, the James Beard Award-winning chef asked Tucci about his "aspirations" to open a restaurant. "You are so in the food world now," she said, according to PEOPLE.

"Would I like to do it? Yes," Tucci said, before admitting that he recently turned down an opportunity to open a restaurant in a hotel because it was "too big."

"Would I like to do something incredibly small? Yes," he said, adding that his dream restaurant would include daily menu changes and staple dishes with very few wines. "I'd like to have something really small, intimate, brown paper on the thing. Like an osteria."

Tucci clarifies, though, that he is "not a chef" and wouldn't be the one cooking—nor would his chef son. "That would completely destroy the relationship," Tucci joked of his oldest, Nicolo, who just graduated from Leiths School of Food and Wine in London and is working at St. John restaurant.

"I'm fascinated by food and why the world eats what it eats," Tucci continued while promoting his new cookware line at Williams Sonoma, TUCCI by GreenPan. "Growing up, eating was everything... It becomes a focal point, it becomes the punctuation at the end of the day. Everything that was wonderful and everything that was repressed would show itself at the table."

While we might have to wait a bit for an actual Stanley Tucci restaurant, at least we have his social media content to keep us entertained (and fed) in the meantime. In the last month alone, Tucci has shared his concia di zucchine, saffron risotto with mushrooms, and risotto cakes recipes.
