St. Bernard Puppy Sweetly Snuggles Up to New Friend During Puppy Yoga

Puppy yoga isn't exactly a new concept anymore, but if you're a dog person like me, you know that it also never gets old. The innocence and entertainment of puppies combined with the mindfulness and self-care of yoga is a combination that's guaranteed to make you smile. Whether your biggest accomplishment was mastering a new yoga pose or making a new friend, everyone leaves this class feeling great.

Puppysphere is just one company that hosts puppy yoga classes in major East Coast cities like Miami, Toronto, and NYC. These classes create all kinds of special moments between puppies and their new friends, but one highlight from a May 5 class has people swooning. The sweet St. Bernard puppy may have met their new BFF, but they've made millions of others smile, too.

Aww! If I wasn't so blinded by this St. Bernard puppy's sweet snuggles, I'd be very, very jealous of this lucky yoga student. This is the dream moment that everyone wants to have when they sign up for a puppy yoga class, and it's easy to see why. Cuddling up to a floppy puppy like this is one of life's greatest gifts!

"I would never be able to do puppy yoga," admits @berta_stanley. "I would be so tempted to just take one home." You and me both! Fortunately, plenty of yoga studios are on the same page, and many of the pups who attend yoga classes are up for adoption (or will be soon). We may never know if this woman adopted this precious St. Bernard puppy, but we'd all like to think that she did. Myself included!

Puppy yoga can actually be a great way to help puppies, and even older dogs, get adopted. Just think about it! You can play and cuddle during this interactive class, which is a lot more than you can do with an adoptable dog through the bars of a kennel.

Is a St. Bernard Puppy for You?

As small and precious as this little puppy is, especially when he's cuddling up to the woman, it's important to remember that he won't always be so little. St. Bernards are very large dogs, measuring up to 30 inches tall from shoulder to floor! Male Bernards can weigh over 180 pounds when fully grown, though be prepared: they have more drool than they have fur! These certainly aren't the cleanest dogs to have around, but their loving personalities and watchdog natures can make them a. wonderful addition to many households.
