OU softball's NCAA-record winning streak ends vs. Louisiana: Social media reacts
NORMAN — The longest winning streak in NCAA softball history has been broken.
No. 1-ranked OU (18-1) suffered a 7-5 home loss (eight innings) to Louisiana on Sunday in the final game of the OU Tournament. The upset defeat snapped the Sooners' 71-game winning streak, which dated back to a win over Cal State Fullerton on Feb. 24, 2023.

Whoever is officiating the OU vs Louisiana softball game needs to be fired immediately. Review showed the first baseman’s foot 2 inches off the bag, and they still called her out. Absolutely inexcusable call that should result in the immediate firing of that crew. WTH!
