The 2022 NFL Draft is a day away.

It’s a big draft for the Dallas Cowboys, who have some holes to fill this offseason, mainly at wide receiver and at pass rusher, following the trade of Amari Cooper and the loss of Randy Gregory in free agency.

Over the years, the Cowboys have made some pretty great draft picks, especially in the first round, with players like Zack Martin, Ezekiel Elliott, Micah Parsons, CeeDee Lamb and more. There’s been some bad picks too, though.

Sports Illustrated recently named the worst draft picks of all-time for each NFL franchise. The Cowboys’ pick happened this century.

In 2012, the Cowboys traded up to take LSU cornerback Morris Claiborne at No. 6 overall.

Claiborne was the best defensive back in college football at LSU, but he never lived up to the hype with the Cowboys.

The former LSU Tigers star played for Dallas from 2012-16 before playing for the Jets in 2017-18 and the Chiefs in 2019.
