From the moment I approached Villa Cin Cin, a five-bedroom rental located on Cruz Bay in St. John, I was immediately captivated by the expansive views of the Caribbean Ocean and lush national park. From my private outdoor shower and veranda to the picturesque infinity pool, I found breathtaking sights in every direction.

This charming property, named one of Vrbo's 2024 Vacation Rentals of the Year, is defined by tropical gardens, stone archways and old-world cobblestone floors. There's a grass area perfect for practicing morning yoga, a rooftop deck fit for sunbathing and beach access only a two-minute walk away.

Though I was invited by the Vrbo team to spend three nights at Villa Cin Cin, this St. John villa is just one of the remarkable vacation rentals available throughout the U.S. on Vrbo (there's more than two million in total).

If you're eager to book a getaway for 2024, you might want to consider one of Vrbo's Vacation Rentals of the Year — all of which have a 4.9 or higher star rating. Ranging from cozy cabin retreats and oceanfront cottages to modern city stays, here are the top 10 listings.
