Spencerport boy's welcoming gift to Bills first round draft pick worn in WR's rookie photo

Logan Bittner delivered a Hail Mary to Keon Coleman: A letter welcoming the rookie wideout to the Buffalo Bills along with a pair of friendship bracelets.

Coleman is skilled at receiving footballs and fan mail.

The 33rd overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft not only opened the package from Logan, 10, but he wore the bracelets for his NFLPA Rookie Premiere photo shoot.

Logan's eagle-eyed mom, Krystle Bittner, spotted the bracelets when the Bills tweeted pictures of Coleman in a Buffalo uniform for the first time. She had to scroll back up for an instant replay. Like a perfectly thrown pass, the gift landed in Coleman's hands.

"I was like 'Naw, there's no way,'" Krystle Bittner said. "Then they were actually Logan's. I told Logan and he started screaming and squealing."

The beaded bracelets are in Bills colors along with "Let's Go Bills." Logan, who lives in Spencerport and is a fourth-grader at Taylor Elementary School, included a drawing of Coleman scoring a touchdown. The letter told Coleman he hopes to meet him at training camp and gave Coleman some western New York foodie tips: "The Best pizza is Imperial. Try Wegmans sandwich ultimate chocolate chip cookies with the frosting in the middle."

"It was very cool and a surprise he wore them," Logan said. “The bracelets are because I wanted to spread love and kindness and welcome him to Buffalo."

Coleman has already won the hearts of fans with his infectious lighthearted personality. He and Bills Mafia are now officially friends. Krystle Bittner received a text from Coleman's agent thanking Logan for the letter and bracelets.

Logan began making friendship bracelets to pass out to fans at training camp. Former Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs was the first player to take a bracelet from him. Logan was inspired to make bracelets with specific messages to give to his favorite players, like "Grape Davis" for Gabe Davis, "Goalie Academy" to Tre'Davious White, "Little Stitious" to Josh Allen who is a fan of "The Office," and a bracelet for Dawson Knox after the tight end's brother died unexpectedly.

The Bittner family has been season-ticket holders for 18 years and Logan has been attending games since he was 5. He's cheered at a playoff win over the Patriots with a wind chill of minus-32, and watched January's playoff victory against the Steelers in ski goggles following a massive snowstorm.

Logan enjoys helping out and making people smile. He participated in Walk MS in Buffalo on May 11 and volunteered at the Micah Hyde Charity Softball Game over the weekend. A few years ago, Logan heard about a kid who couldn't make training camp because he was in the hospital so he made a get well soon card and got it signed by Bills players and mailed it to the boy.

The letters have also given back to Logan. He was struggling with handwriting but enjoys writing fan letters.

"I never would’ve expected anything like this. It's been really fantastic and twofold," Krystle Bittner said. "It shows him something small with the intent of kindness can do something big. The second is seeing how much confidence he's had in the last 24 hours of someone seeing his letter and feeling good about it.

"I've quietly cried a couple of times already."

Coleman isn't the only one catching attention. Krystle Bittner asked Logan school day went the following morning.

"Logan said he signed autographs for his friends,"
