South Carolina this weekend will play its last football game at Williams-Brice Stadium until next September.
The Gamecocks host No. 5 Tennessee at 7 p.m. Saturday. The home finale also serves as Senior Day for USC.
The Volunteers have won the last three meetings against South Carolina and enter the game in pursuit of a spot in the College Football Playoff.

Top storylines for the game
USC’s Senior Day: South Carolina will be honor 20 or so players before Saturday’s game, including Dakereon Joyner. The seniors on the team have varying levels of time with the program, with some joining in 2019, others from as far back as 2017 and some who have transferred in from other schools.
Heisman hopeful: Tennessee quarterback Hendon Hooker is having a career season and has placed himself in the Heisman Trophy conversation. He’s amassed more than 3,200 yards of total offense with 29 total touchdowns. Many NFL mock drafts have him as a first-round pick.
Pushing for the postseason: The Volunteers are No. 5 in the College Football Playoff rankings with two games left in their season. The Gamecocks already clinched bowl eligibility, but will look to improve on their 6-4 record and get a more high-profile game.
Second-year tenures: Josh Heupel and Shane Beamer are both in their second years with their respective programs. Heupel coached at UCF for three years and went 28-8 with three bowl game appearances. Beamer is 13-10 at South Carolina through nearly two seasons as a head coach.
USC offensive woes: South Carolina has dropped two of its last three games, scoring a total of 16 points in those losses. The team faces a Tennessee team on Saturday that allows 21.9 points per game, which is the fifth-best mark in the SEC.

Players to watch
Antwane Wells, WR, South Carolina: Wells leads South Carolina in receptions, yards and touchdowns. The James Madison transfer has totaled as many as 189 yards in a game this year. A frequent target for the Gamecocks, Wells could make some plays for them in the home finale.
Cam Smith, DB, South Carolina: Smith is regarded as a player with NFL talent. He’s only intercepted one pass this year largely due to his disruptive playmaking in the secondary. Smith blocked a field goal against Florida.
Hendon Hooker, QB, Tennessee: Hooker is in the midst of a Heisman campaign for the Volunteers. He’s thrown 24 touchdowns to just two interceptions, and has run for an additional five touchdowns through 10 games. Hooker threw for 225 yards and three touchdowns against USC last year.
Jalin Hyatt, WR, Tennessee: Hyatt leads the SEC with 1,116 receiving yards, clearing the next player by 393 yards. He’s projected by Sports Illustrated as a first-round pick in the upcoming NFL Draft. Hyatt is originally from Irmo, South Carolina.
