Months after reportedly coming to an "amicable resolution" in their contentious custody battle, Sophie Turner has "reactivated" the divorce proceedings filed to end her marriage to Joe Jonas.

According to new court documents obtained by TMZ, the court's involvement in the divorce, which was put on hold when the estranged couple went to mediationresulting in a temporary agreement between the two about where their kids would reside—is back on.

You may recall that Turner filed a lawsuit alleging that Jonas was unlawfully maintaining custody of their children back in September, shortly after he filed for divorce, requesting the courts permit her to take their daughters Willa, 3, and Delphine, 20 months, home with her to the UK. Jonas, of course, shut down the allegation, and the two began splitting custody.

Unfortunately, the two have seemingly failed to come to a permanent agreement, with Turner previously stating she wanted to raise the girls in the UK—which she claims Jonas was on board with up until their separation—while Jonas is said to want them to remain in the US.

With the process heading back to court, their disputes—which were able to be kept private through mediation—will become public, though with a prenup reportedly in place it's unlikely property or other assets will come into play while the two remain at odds over their children.

That said, a representative for the musician told the publication that Turner's filing was just "a legal formality," with the two continuing to try to "negotiate an amicable resolution."
