Don't Be a Cotton-Headed Ninny Muggins

The Will Ferrel-led classic Christmas movie "Elf" turned 20 years old this year (feeling old yet?) and companies everywhere jumped on the opportunity to unveil new "Elf" themed food products just in time for the holiday hoopla.

From pancakes to full-on Buddy the Elf-approved meal kits, here are some of the best "Elf" foods you can find.

Prices and availability are subject to change.

Mrs Butterworth Elf Pancake Mix and Syrup
Target / Cheapism

1. Mrs. Butterworths "Elf" Sugar Cookie Pancake Mix and Syrup

Price: $6 for the pancakes and $3.79 for the syrup at Target

Syrup is one of the four main elf food groups, as everyone knows by now. Although Buddy enjoys his syrup on spaghetti, this bottle of Mrs. Buttersworths tastes much more at home on the accompanying sugar cookie pancakes.

At first glance, you might think the pancake mix is no different than throwing some sprinkles into a regular pancake batter, but Mrs. Buttersworth infused this mix to taste like sugar cookies. The packaged cream cheese frosting is overkill if you ask us, but we're positive Buddy would approve of the extra sugar surge.

2. Goldfish "Elf" Maple Syrup Grahams

Price: $3 at Target

The syrup-inspired snacks don't and can't begin and end with Mrs. Buttersworth. That would be a crime against elfkind. Goldfish offers a maple syrup graham version of its crackers featuring Christmas shapes alongside the traditional fishies.

3. Pillsbury Ready to Bake "Elf" Sugar Cookie Dough

Price: $4 at Target

Pillsbury's festive ready-to-bake sugar cookie dough never misses. We always see this stuff all over TikTok, and the cute little elf hat design on these is absolutely adorable. Want to get extra festive? Grab some of Pillsbury's plain sugar cookie dough, roll it in red and green sanding sugar, and press these cute "Elf" cookies on top for a layered cookie treat.

Of course, they'll be best enjoyed while watching "Elf" and sipping hot chocolate ... or chugging a two-liter of Coca-Cola like Buddy would. Your choice.

4. Keebler "Elf" 20th Anniversary Gingerbread Fudge Stripes

Price: $5 at Target

It was only right for Keebler to unveil a revamped version of its famous Fudge Stripe cookies, this time with a gingerbread vibe instead of the classic shortbread and chocolate. Of course, the Keebler elf was also swapped with Buddy on the package.

5. Brach's Candy Cane Forest Mellowcreme Candies

Price: $3.59 at Target

We love a good themed candy, and these mellowcremes are a nod to Buddy's adventures in "Elf." We could see a lot of fun desserts unfolding with the implementation of these little candies.

6. Krispy Kreme's “Elf” Doughnut Collection

Price: $19 a dozen (varies by location)

God bless Krispy Kreme. The doughnut giant released a special edition dozen with an "Elf" theme and these are about the most festive and adorable doughnuts around. They aren't merely adorned with different colored frosting and designs on each either.

The lineup includes three different creative takes on the original glazed doughnuts with an assortment of toppings including sugar cookie icing, powdered sugar, cake batter spaghetti buttercreme, milk chocolate coated candies, maple drizzle, sprinkles, and chocolate icing. Plus, the Santa doughnut (Santa?! We know him!) is filled with cookies and creme filling. We are actually drooling.

Brach's Swirly Twirly Gum Drops

7. Brach's Swirly Twirly Gum Drops

Price: $1.69 at Target

These cute little gumdrops would make the cutest cookies, and they're also the cheapest "Elf" goodie on this list. The drops come in three flavors: Icy Blue Raspberry, Merry Cherry, and Sweet Sugarplum.
