Solo Stove is the brand behind one of our favorite smokeless fire pits, the Bonfire 2.0. Though we love gas fire pits, this model is fueled by wood and is great for camping or backyard bonfires. But weighing in at just over 25 pounds, it’s not particularly dainty. This is where the Mesa tabletop fire pit comes in.

Released last September, this 1.4-pound model has that same smokeless fire we love, but in a much more portable form. It’s particularly good for outdoor dinners, impromptu s’mores, and nights spent out on the patio. Today, Solo Stove is adding even more to their Mesa line with the introduction of the Mesa XL and the Mesa accessory packs.

The Mesa XL is the next step up from the Mesa. It is, as the name implies, larger, while still being a tabletop model. Altogether, it’s a couple inches taller and wider than the original, and just a pound heavier. The Mesa XL also boasts a slightly longer burn time than its predecessor, as well as the ability to impart more heat from its flame. And though it is larger, it’s no less portable than the Mesa, and it’s perhaps even more optimal for making s’mores—especially if you pick up the new accessory pack to go with it.

With the launch of the Mesa XL, Solo Stove is also releasing accessory packs for both Mesa fire pits. The packs are particularly useful if you see yourself using one or both tabletop fire pits for toasting marshmallows (or other bonfire favorites). The accessory packs come with four mini roasting sticks and rests to go with them, a carrying case, a lid, and a pellet scoop. They're available in two sizes, and this is really just because the Mesa and Mesa XL require different lids.

Whichever model you prefer, the packs will make your Solo Stove tabletop fire pit even more fun and even easier to tote around with you on all your adventures (even if that’s just going over to the neighbor’s house).
