Social media personalities are reacting to the death of popular TikToker Kyle Marisa Roth after members of her family announced the news on April 15.

Kyle, known for weighing in on celebrity gossip and sharing controversial opinions on the social media platform, died “last week,” according to her sister Lindsay Roth's Instagram post. It is unclear what led to her death.

News of Kyle’s death stunned the social media sphere. Bunnie Xo, wife of country singer Jelly Roll, commented on Kyle’s last TikTok, which she posted on April 7. “I’m so sad 😭,” she wrote.

Fellow TikTokers Ophelia Nichols, also known as Mama Tot, and Zoe Roe also paid tribute to Kyle in the comment section of her last video.

“🥺will miss you so much.💙,” Nichols wrote. “I can’t stop thinking about her family right now.”

Roe added, “Omg I can’t believe this😭💔 you will be soo missed.”

Other social media stars posted tributes to Kyle on their page. “This news is absolutely heartbreaking,” wrote Shannon Hill in a carousel of photos on her TikTok page.

Hill went on to call Kyle “a legend in your own right” and said she “will be missed.”

“I always enjoyed our messages back and forth… you were always so sweet,” Hill added.

Molly McPherson, a public relations expert known for her crisis communications content, is “devastated” and shocked over the loss of her friend, whom she collaborated with multiple times.

“She was such an energy. She had boundless energy,” McPherson explained in her video. “... Kyle was brilliant. I said this this morning, talking to people. She was smart.”

McPherson said she and Kyle had been collaborating on something, but that she had not been able to reach Kyle “these last few days.”

“She was an amazing person. I loved this person. I loved her,” McPherson cried. “I loved her energy, I loved her vulnerability [and] her honesty. She did not have an easy life. … I don’t even know how to process this right now.”

Kyle’s mother Jacquie Cohen Roth shared on LinkedIn that the family hopes to “understand more in the next few days,” surrounding her death.
