Snoop Dogg says his mom is ‘still fighting’ as he visits her at hospital
Snoop Dogg said his mother is “still fighting” as he visited her at the hospital Sunday.
The update came in an Instagram post, more than two months after the “Gin and Juice” rapper asked fans to pray for his mom.
“Happy Sunday me and my brothers went to c mama today and she opened up her eyes to c us and let us know she still fighting. God is good,” Snoop Dogg captioned Sunday’s post.
“Thanks for all the prayers 1 day at a time.”
Snoop Dogg, whose real name is Calvin Broadus Jr., has not publicly shared what his mother is dealing with.
Sunday’s post included a photo showing Snoop Dogg at the hospital alongside his mom.
Among the Instagram users who commented on the post were actor-singer Jamie Foxx, who shared a series of praying emojis, and rapper Busta Rhymes, who posted rose icons.
The 49-year-old Snoop Dogg previously asked his followers for their support in a May 7 post on Instagram, writing at the time, “need all my prayer warriors for momma right now please and thank you.”
