A parked car appeared to have been seriously damaged by the plane, too, according to NBC 4.
The FAA said it wasn’t immediately clear how many people were aboard the single-engine plane, a Mooney M20M. The cause of the crash was also unclear as the FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board began a joint investigation. However, the Manville police later said the pilot — who was injured — was the only person aboard.
The pilot suffered facial injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment, according to ABC 7.
