Small boats bill ‘shuts door’ to genuine victims, says Theresa May

Theresa May has criticised the government's new Illegal Migration Bill, warning that it "shuts the door" on genuine victims of modern slavery.

The former prime minister said anyone who believed legislation would halt "illegal migration once and for all is wrong."
