Brush up on your air violin skills, millennials: Yellowcard is back, and they’re coming to North Texas this summer. The band announced Tuesday they will hit the road for a 20th-anniversary tour celebrating their breakout album “Ocean Avenue.”

The pop-punk group starts their anniversary tour July 5 in Baltimore and will play in North Texas on July 27 in Irving at The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory, with This Wild Life, Mayday Parade and Anberlin opening. Story of the Year and an Emo Night Brooklyn DJ will open other dates.

Ticketmaster pre-sale for tickets starts Wednesday, Feb. 15 at 10 a.m. local time (use code CHORUS). General on-sale for tickets starts Friday, Feb. 17 at 10:00 a.m. local time.

If you miss out on tickets for the show in Irving, Yellowcard will play Houston on July 25.

The last time Yellowcard was in North Texas was for their Final World Tour following their breakup and the release of their tenth and (as of now) final studio album. The band reunited last September for a performance at Riot Fest and will play Slam Dunk Festival and the When We Were Young Festival this year, but no official reformation plans have been set.

Yellwocard’s current lineup right now is Ryan Key on vocals and rhythm guitar; Sean Mackin on violin and backup vocals; Ryan Mendez on lead guitar; and Josh Portman on bass.

“Announcing a Yellowcard tour is something I never thought we would get to do again,” Key said in a press release. “Much less, a tour with bands of this caliber made up of such amazing people and good friends. Being given the opportunity to play music together again is truly a gift that we are not taking for granted. We are going to make these shows extremely special for all of the fans who we have missed so much these last six years.”
