Skyy Moore video shows Patrick Mahomes’ beer pong dominance at Chiefs’ Super Bowl party

Quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ domination didn’t end with the Chiefs’ victory in Super Bowl LVII.

Mahomes completed 13 of 14 passes against the Eagles in the second half, with his only incompletion coming on a throwaway near the end zone.

That helped fuel a comeback, and the Chiefs celebrated their 38-35 victory over the Eagles with a big bash at the team hotel. The fun continued later with another party for the players.

Wide receiver Skyy Moore shared a video of his entire Super Bowl Sunday and the parade that followed days later in Kansas City. That video also takes viewers to that team party, and we see that Mahomes had a hot hand at ... beer pong.

Twitter user TaiwanChiefsFan shared the clip of Mahomes playing beer pong that night/morning.

This isn’t the first instance of Mahomes excelling in the party game.

Mahomes’ beer pong dominance was chronicled by GQ’s Clay Skipper in 2020. A story in the fashion magazine recounted how Mahomes and Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce went to a Post Malone concert at the T-Mobile Center after the Super Bowl LIV championship parade.

“The courteous Mahomes brought along a jersey ‘as a thank-you for having us out.’ As Mahomes and his teammate Travis Kelce sized up the scene backstage, Post challenged the two to a friendly game of beer pong,” Skipper wrote.

“Post’s invitation turned out to be ill-advised. Mahomes and Kelce are the most effective quarterback-tight end duo in the NFL, and apparently they’re capable of doing as much damage on a sad-looking folding table backstage at a concert as they do on the field on Sundays. Though Mahomes described his beer pong game that night as merely good, he told me Kelce had been ‘unconscious.’ When I asked him about it, Kelce said, ‘I don’t know if I’ve been that hot on the pong table ever in my life.’ ...

“After nine or ten games, Post is interrupted by his manager. It’s time, he’s told, to take the stage. But Post waves him off. He needs to win a game. Finally, around the 14th or 15th game, Post decides he needs to up the stakes. He hands a piece of paper to Mahomes and Kelce, and he asks them to write their signatures, and he promises to tattoo the autographs onto his body — you know, like, permanently — if they can beat him again.”

You don’t need to read the rest of that story to know how that turned out for Malone. This photo says it all.

In Moore’s video, it looked like Kelce and Mahomes were on opposing teams, but it also seems Mahomes didn’t miss a shot.

Mahomes just had a hot hand that day.
