Sky Sports is expanding its Premier League coverage by 70% from the 2025/26 season.

Following a newly-secured four-year deal, the company announced this week that customers will be able to enjoy up to 100 more matches each season, with at least four being beamed through their television every week.

This package offers 215 live games throughout each season until the last day in May 2029, with flagship programme Super Sunday remaining a jewel in the Sky Sports crown. For the first time ever, too, the service is airing multiple live games on a number of weekends at Sunday 2pm, while Sky Sports will also broadcast all 10 matches on the final day of each season.

Rival broadcaster TNT Sports has also struck a new deal for its Premier League coverage.

From the 2025/26 to 2028/29 seasons, TNT is scheduled to air 52 exclusive games, with president Andrew Georgiou commenting: "It's hugely exciting to continue to bring fans exclusive Premier League matches for the next five seasons."

Chief executive of the Premier League, Richard Masters, added: "We are delighted to announce new deals with Sky Sports and TNT Sports that will extend our partnership for a further four years and see more Premier League matches than ever before shown live from 2025/26 onwards."

The world-renowned football competition will receive £6.7 billion for these rights.
